We embrace children and families in need in order to empower and equip them for a promising future.
We work to make a difference in people’s lives by applying resources to needs, so that all those we serve have opportunity to reach their God-given potential.
Scripture - We believe that Scripture is God’s inspired and authoritative Word. We strive to live by its instruction for daily life and it is the basis of our Core Values. (Psalm 119; 1 Corinthians 2:6-16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
Service - We believe that by strengthening families, we promote healthy children and they are the core of all that we do. God has called us and will equip us for this great work. We demonstrate our Christian values by being of service to those in need. (Isaiah 1:17; Micah 6:8; Luke 18:6; Ephesians 4:1, 11-13; James 1:27)
Relationships - We believe that having healthy and close relationships with others is built on having a personal relationship with God through Christ. We value all human life, the God-ordained sacred institution of marriage exclusively represented by a man and woman, and strong families. We affirm the virtues of faith, hope and love. (Genesis 2:22-24; Matthew 25:35-36; Luke 10:27; John 15:12-17; 1 Corinthians 13:13; Galatians 5:22-26; Ephesians 5:22-33; James 1:27)
Prayer - We believe that prayer must be at the center of all we do, both individually and collectively. We pray for God’s direction in all that we do as well as actively pray for one another. (2 Chronicles 7:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6; John 15:7)
Trust - We believe that we must place all of our trust in the Lord. God is faithful and promises over and over again to never forsake us. He will provide for all of our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. We will also seek to develop trusting relationships with our ministry partners, key stakeholders, and those we serve. (Psalm 28:7; Proverbs 3:5-6; John 15:15-27; Philippians 4:19)
Integrity - We believe in living lives of integrity. This value goes beyond our financial dealings but also relates to all areas of conduct and character including how we relate to all people we serve and those with whom we work. We best display integrity when we support the cultural heritage of others by respecting the diversity of those we serve and those with whom we work. (Psalm 15:1-5; Proverbs 11:3; Psalm 25:21; James 1:12)
Growth - We believe that to be effective, we must improve in body, mind, and spirit. Our individual and organizational growth will result in excellent and innovative services. In addition, we must embrace best practices and understand the importance of quality, professionalism, and accountability in all we do. (Psalm 119:66; Proverbs 1:1-7; 2:1-11; 9:9-12; 18:15; 22:17; Luke 2:52; Romans 12:2; Colossians 3:23; Titus 3:14)
Stewardship - We believe in being good stewards of the time, talents, and treasures entrusted to us by God, through His people. (1 Peter 4:10-11; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2)
