Amber

Amber holds a Master’s in Professional Counseling from the University of North Texas and is licensed in the state of Texas. She works with children of all ages and their families, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for growth and healing. She offers individual counseling services for clients across the lifespan, tailoring her approach to meet each person’s unique needs.

Amber believes in the transformative power of healing through relationships and is passionate about empowering families to carry what they learn in counseling into their everyday lives. She considers it a privilege to hear each person’s story and to walk alongside them as they grow in hope, experience healing, and take meaningful steps toward their personal goals.

Amber is trained in EMDR and has received training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has also completed the National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training Initiative and is trained as a Parent Café Facilitator and NEAR Science Trainer. Amber integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities into her work, with an approach rooted in empathy, connection, and a deep commitment to helping clients build resilience, process experiences, and achieve meaningful change.

In her free time you will find Amber hiking outside with her family, playing board games or reading a good book.
