Anna Castillo

Counseling Intern

Anna is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the University of North Texas and has spent more than 27 years working in higher education. Throughout her career, Anna has had the opportunity to mentor and advise students, support their personal and professional development, navigate difficult situations, and build communities where students can feel connected and supported.

Her years of working closely with students have strengthened her passion for walking alongside people through life's challenges and transitions. Anna chose counseling because she believes everyone has a story worth hearing and that having someone who listens with compassion and without judgment can make a meaningful difference. She is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where people feel heard, understood, and encouraged as they work toward healing and growth.
