Arial Cotto
Counseling Intern

Arial Cotto is a United States Marine Corps veteran and counseling student intern pursuing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. With experience as a Crisis Clinician, Mental Health Technician, CPS Investigator, and Court Appointed Special Advocate, he has supported children, adults, and families navigating trauma, crisis, substance use, relationship conflict, stress, anxiety, parenting challenges, and other barriers that impact daily life and functioning.
Arial uses a trauma-informed, person-centered approach grounded in CBT, DBT, and Sand Tray Therapy. He is committed to empowering clients, strengthening coping skills, and providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to help individuals overcome the challenges they face day to day.
In his free time, Arial enjoys spending time with his wife and children through indoor and outdoor activities, Bible study, singing, exercising, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
