Marilyn is a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and has developed valuable skills in communication, empathy, and cultural sensitivity through her many years of experience in the hospitality industry and as a medical interpreter.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Marilyn is committed to supporting clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in counseling, where she is committed to fostering a supportive and empathetic environment for healing and growth. Marilyn enjoys traveling with her family, playing with her nephew, and loves trying new restaurants and bakeries wherever she goes.
