Milagros is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and advocating for accessible, inclusive services. She values respect, authenticity, and collaboration, and strives to meet clients where they are while supporting growth at each person’s own pace. As an aspiring licensed professional counselor, Milagros aims to build a career helping individuals and families develop coping skills, foster resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Milagros holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology and is currently pursuing a master’s in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Phoenix, AZ. Her background in understanding workplace behavior and organizational systems, combined with classroom experience as a teacher, shapes a practical, relational approach to supporting others through change and challenge. Drawing on years in education, Milagros is skilled at building rapport, managing diverse needs, and creating structured yet flexible environments where individuals feel safe, respected, and engaged. She is especially interested in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational concerns, and is developing clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and counseling approaches such as cognitive-behavioral and person-centered therapy.
