Louis & Billie Sue Henna of Round Rock dreamed of providing quality Christian care for abused and neglected children in Central Texas. This dream became a reality in 1950, when they donated 112 acres of land and five newly constructed buildings (three cottages, an administration building, and a superintendent’s residence) to the Baptist General Convention of Texas for the purpose of establishing the Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
