Denise Watts, LPC-Associate supervised by Suzanne Wood, LPC-S

Counselor, Hope Counseling Program, Round Rock

Denise

Denise finds it to be an honor to step into people's lives through counseling. She desires to embody Christ in her care for the broken, holding their stories with compassion, and bringing the light, truth, and love of God into what may seem hopeless. For her, it's a privilege to get to know people and their stories and to work collaboratively to seek healing and hope.

Denise was a public high school counselor for 5+ years before stepping into the clinical counseling world. She has experience with school-related issues, career and college concerns, conflict resolution, identity, stress and anxiety, depression, life transitions, suicidal ideation, and multicultural issues. She is also interested in working with clients struggling with faith, trauma, and other issues.

Hailing from the East Coast, Denise was born and raised in northern New Jersey but has roots in Argentina. She is fluent in Spanish, loves hymns, drinking mate, reading, following Philly sports, and serving her local church. She has been married to her sweetheart since 2020, and they love spending time outdoors with their rescue dog.
