The Aftercare Program assures a continuing relationship with the moms and children who have completed the Family Care Program. Services may include access to the commissary, visits to the Boutique, individual counseling, and limited financial assistance. Family Care also offers case management and budgeting services to former clients.
The importance of the relationships depends primarily on the family’s individual needs and continued efforts to maintain independence. In effect, the Family Care Program becomes extended family and a place to turn during times of need.
