More about the Program
Applicants must have a desire to work through program requirements, including being able to self-care, hold down a job and/or furthering their education full-time. Youth are provided case management services that include counseling, budgeting, job readiness, academic goal setting, mentoring, commissary and supportive resources to ensure the youth’s program success. Youth between the ages of 18 and 24 may apply for the program. An application process along with an interview and a criminal background check is necessary before being accepted into the program. Currently, the Home Base program provides housing for up to 20 young adults. Housing is provided on our Texas Baptist Children's Home campus.
