Relief
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Marilyn holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Towson University.
Her experience in medical interpreting and the hospitality industry has shaped her compassionate, client-centered approach and strengthened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Marilyn values meeting clients where they are and understands the importance of being heard in a language and environment that feels comfortable and authentic. She loves working with individuals of all ages, as well as couples and families, and strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and move toward healing and growth.
Outside the counseling office, Marilyn enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with her nephew, and exploring new restaurants and bakeries. She believes life's greatest joys come from meaningful connections with the people we love.
We rely on volunteers to enrich the lives of those we serve and to strengthen our ministry.
