Heather Adriano is a graduate student pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology and brings over five years of experience teaching special education students, along with coaching experience. Heather has also volunteered by teaching ballet to children and adults with disabilities, where she observed and documented their social, emotional, and physical growth. These experiences have strengthened her skills in empathy, communication, and adaptability.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Heather dedicates herself to providing support to individuals with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Her passion for counseling emerged during her teaching career, when students often turned to her for guidance through difficult times. Those meaningful interactions inspired her to pursue counseling as a way to help others heal, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Heather has a deep passion for working with youth and believes in empowering others to flourish in all areas of life. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, exploring new places, playing sports, crafting, and attending concerts.
