Roslynn

Roslynn is passionate about helping couples and families heal and thrive. She believes in the power of understanding the roots of behaviors as a means to facilitate change and guides her clients in uncovering new insights about why they do what they do in order to understand themselves and others better. With this new perspective, clients are more easily able to modify thoughts and behaviors and to create new patterns of relating, healing old wounds in new relational contexts.

Roslynn earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seminary of the Southwest and is experienced in working with couples, families, and those struggling with relationship issues. She is trained in Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT) and incorporates a variety of therapeutic practices into her work with clients, including family systems theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additionally, she integrates filial therapy into family sessions with small children. She is also a certified Facilitator of the  Prepare-Enrich program, designed to improve relationships among premarital and married couples.

A native Austinite, Roslynn and her husband have a beautiful little girl, new baby boy and a Morkie named Jayce. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, singing, and crocheting.
