Scott is a graduate student intern, completing his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Scott has a passion for working with young adults, couples, and parents. He has a background working with families of children with autism as a behavioral therapist.
Scott has a therapeutic approach that considers the system surrounding every client. By using cognitive-behavioral techniques, Scott works collaboratively with his clients to find ways to develop better processing and coping skills as a method to better handle the difficulties life can present. The overall goal for Scott is that the client finds their own version of success and stability.
In his free time, Scott loves spending time with his wife, his dog, Bear, and his friends. He enjoys traveling as well as spending time outdoors playing disc golf, going on walks, and relaxing at the lake. He loves cheering on his Baylor Bears and he is involved at his church, Red Rocks Austin.
