Tabitha

Tabitha is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin - Baylor where she studied clinical psychology and mental health counseling. Her interest in counseling began while working in behavioral health, realizing the direct impact daily stressors and adverse events can have on emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. She has experience helping individuals spanning from early childhood to late adulthood in different settings including education and end of life care. Those opportunities allowed her to assist others as they faced life issues with varying levels of severity.

Tabitha is committed to working alongside individuals and families in their pursuit of true healing and freedom beyond the obstacles encountered throughout life. She incorporates a range of techniques informed by Adlerian theory and other humanistic approaches with a focus on restoration of self-image and assessing how one’s beliefs influence their emotions and reactions.

One of the many aspects Tabitha appreciates about counseling is that it offers us a way to regain power and get a clearer view of the wholeness God intends for us. She enjoys writing poetry, learning new music, and spending time outdoors or in the company of loved ones.
